    Yep, this is a clear example of a failure by parents to address their child's behavior earlier in life...I believe a series of counseling sessions using EMDR would have resulted in positive changes in his life.

    Doesnt the brain take till age 25 to develop fully? That could mean similiar bad life events could cause the same outcomenas childhood trauma up to 25.

    "Modern Death" by Haider Warraich M.D. is an exceptionally well articulated read! I also recommend "All The Living And The Dead" by Hayley Campbell and "How We Die" by Sherwin B. Nuland" are absolutely ESSENTIAL on this topic. The "good death" should be more than just a longed for hope. ⏳.....⌛

    I was 5 when my father passed on a tragic accident at his job. I am now 38 and going through some very intense grief from losing my dad. I did not get proper treatment and my older brother turned abusive and all focus was on him. My mom never remarried or dated. I have had many many struggles.

    Of all the money we are sending to other countries, we don’t have enough to take care of such a deadly disease. My 40 year old family member is on year 4 of her ED and is dying before our eyes. No one has $70,000 or even $5,000 to get treatment for her, so I guess she will just end up a statistic. Shame on our system, shame on America. 😭😭😭

    Can someone please answer my question If a kid were to have CPS called on their family, when the child gets taken away, if the only family they have is two states away, would the child be forced to live there or could they stay with a close friend and their family? Because the only other family I have lives in Florida, I hate that family All of my friends offered me a place to stay And i would rather stay at my school with my friends if it meant I'd have to stay with my current family. Like if I'd have to go to Florida, I'm not calling CPS.

      It has to be family or a legal guardian other then them CPS will more likely integrate you into a foster home.

    • @carebears4295

      @Charlie they are suppose to go by the mother or fathers wishes. Family is looked for first and then other people.

    • @radicalacceptance6171
      @radicalacceptance6171 2 роки тому

      This is a very loaded question. While CPS would like for the child to stay with family by all means, it gets complicated when the other family members are in a different state. If the parent no longer have legal rights to the child, the county would be financially responsible, meaning, they would make the decisions. In some cases, children will move to a different state, and a case is then open in that state

    • @MC-8

      Please leave your abusive situation first and then worry about which state you will live in. I hope you are OK

      It's hard to explain but when I was self harming I was punishing myself for my bad actions and also trying not to kill myself. Perhaps if I bleed and hurt, I'll be punished, heal, and move on. But I just have scars, and the same feelings of guilt n shame.
